Pacific City, Oregon (Tuesday, September 29, 2026) — Pelican Brewing Company is proud to announce the release of the Pelican Retro Series, a collection of fan-favorite beers set to return to Pelican’s grocery shelf rotation. Pelican is currently celebrating 30 years in business, and its beer library of the past boasts a large array of award-winning and long-cherished beers. For many years, these beers have gone loved but not forgotten, and thanks to continual requests by fans, Pelican has decided that a few of the most often asked-for beers will be landing once again.

The Retro Series starts strong with one of the most requested returns across all flavors and styles, Umbrella New World IPA. This refreshing India Pale Ale boasts a prominent kiwi and passionfruit hop character from exotic Ella hops, with a bright, sparkling color.
