Truly Hard Seltzer Friendsgiving Drinks for 2026

Friendsgiving has become a pretty big part of the holiday season, and apparently showing up with a bottle of wine or whatever happens to be sitting in the refrigerator isn’t always going to cut it anymore. Truly Hard Seltzer is taking aim at that familiar holiday question of what to bring when somebody invites you over, and the company has come up with a limited-edition Truly Hard Seltzer Friendsgiving Potluck Pack that puts the drinks in the same planning conversation as the turkey, stuffing and desserts. A custom 12-pack. Not a bad idea.

The new Truly Potluck Pack is built around the idea that every Truly Hard Seltzer Friendsgiving gathering has a different menu and a different crowd, so instead of sending everybody home with the same assortment of hard seltzer flavors, Truly is offering customized 12-packs selected around the food being served and the flavor preferences of the guests. That means berry flavors for one gathering, citrus options for another, and even the stronger Truly Unruly selections for people who want something with a little more punch. It’s a seasonal marketing idea, sure, but it also addresses a real problem when you’re trying to bring something useful to a holiday get-together.

Drinks are covered. Truly is connecting specific flavors with traditional Friendsgiving dishes, recommending Wild Berry alongside turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes, Truly Lemonade with sweet potato casserole, and Unruly Citrus Crush with pumpkin pie. The company is also leaning into the growing popularity of Friendsgiving itself, citing survey findings that 52% of younger Americans plan to host or attend one this year, while 63% of potential hosts expect guests to contribute something to the celebration. The custom pack is available through GiveThemBeer.com, with 12-ounce cans drawn from Truly’s 5% ABV core lineup and its stronger 8% ABV Unruly options.

It’s an interesting seasonal move for Truly Hard Seltzer, particularly as beverage brands look for ways to stay part of holiday gatherings rather than simply competing for space in the cooler, and the custom ordering angle gives the Truly Hard Seltzer Friendsgiving Potluck Pack a little more personality than another standard variety pack. Here’s what Truly is offering, how the custom ordering works and where you can get the limited-edition pack.

The limited-edition Truly Hard Seltzer Friendsgiving Potluck Pack is a custom mix of flavors built to pair with your specific menu, crew and vibe

BOSTON, Nov. 04, 2026 – Friendsgiving has become a can’t-miss part of the holiday season, with 52% of younger Americans surveyed planning to host or attend one this year¹. And showing up empty-handed isn’t exactly the move: nearly two-thirds (63%) of potential hosts expect guests to contribute something to the celebration². With Friendsgivings filling up the calendar, there’s one question bound to hit the group chat: What should I bring?

This year, Truly Hard Seltzer has the drinks covered. Meet the limited-edition Truly Hard Seltzer Friendgiving Potluck Pack, a customized 12-pack assortment of Truly flavors built specifically for your Friendsgiving table and designed to take the guesswork out of what to bring.

Available to order starting today on GiveThemBeer.com, the Truly Potluck Pack takes the guesswork out of the one thing every potluck seems to overlook: the drinks! Friends simply share what’s on the menu and their crew’s flavor preferences, and Truly creates a custom 12-pack featuring flavors selected to complement the feast. Whether your table is full of berry lovers or your friends prefer something a little more Unruly, there’s a Truly for the occasion.

“Once the Friendsgiving group text goes out, everyone races to claim a dish and drinks are left to whoever has a free hand,” said John Dorman, Truly senior brand director. “We created the Truly Potluck Pack for the friend who’s on drink duty. Tell us what’s on the table and we’ll help take care of the rest so you can get back to the best part of Friendsgiving: hanging out with your favorite people.”

And because every Truly Hard Seltzer Friendsgiving plate looks a little different, Truly is matching holiday staples with flavors made to complement them. A few highlights include:

  • Turkey, Stuffing and Mashed Potatoes + Truly Wild Berry: Everything on the main plate is salty, and that’s exactly why it needs a sweet-tart counterpoint. Truly Wild Berry works for the same reasons cranberry sauce does, adding a burst of berry that helps complete every dish.
  • Sweet Potato Casserole + Truly Lemonade: Sweet potato casserole gets a fresh counterpart in Truly Lemonade. Its bright, tangy acidity balances the sweetness of the dish and keeps every bite feeling light.
  • Pumpkin Pie + Truly Unruly Citrus Crush: We didn’t forget about dessert! Truly Unruly Citrus Crush brings a juicy orange flavor that complements the warm spices and creamy filling of pumpkin pie. And at 8% ABV, Truly Unruly is sure to end the Friendsgiving meal on a high note.

Each limited-edition Truly Potluck Pack contains 12 12-oz. cans customized to the crew and the spread, pulling from Truly’s innovative lineup of lightly flavored favorites at 5% ABV and bolder Unruly options at 8% ABV.

The Truly Potluck Pack is available exclusively on GiveThemBeer.com while supplies last. Purchase and delivery are limited to people 21 years of age or older.

About Truly Hard Seltzer
An original hard seltzer, Truly has paved the way for an entire category since 2016 as the most innovative “beyond beer” experience. The brand continues to keep its finger on the tab of what drinkers want: a great-tasting, sessionable alcoholic beverage without the fuss. Truly is all about keeping it light in how we show up in our drinkers’ lives. That’s why Truly has something for everyone with lightly flavored styles at our core (Berry, Citrus and Party packs), plus high-ABV flavor mix packs (Unruly), and culturally and seasonally relevant limited releases. To learn more, visit trulyhardseltzer.com and follow Truly on social media.

Truly Hard Seltzer is one of the most recognizable brands in the American hard seltzer category, helping establish the beyond-beer beverage segment as a major part of the U.S. alcoholic beverage industry. Introduced in 2016 by The Boston Beer Company, Truly entered the market when consumers were increasingly looking for alternatives to traditional beer, wine and spirits. Its combination of fruit flavors, sparkling refreshment and approachable alcohol content helped the brand build a national following and become an important part of the company’s expanding beverage portfolio.

The Boston Beer Company was founded in 1984 by Jim Koch, who introduced Samuel Adams Boston Lager and helped establish a new generation of American craft brewing. What began as a brewery focused on traditional beer styles eventually expanded into a much larger beverage operation, with products spanning craft beer, hard cider, hard seltzer, hard tea and ready-to-drink alcoholic beverages. Today, Boston Beer is one of the largest independent publicly traded beverage companies in the United States and continues to operate across several different segments of the alcoholic beverage market.

Truly Hard Seltzer was introduced during the early growth of the hard seltzer category and quickly became one of its leading national brands. The original concept centered on a lightly flavored, sparkling alcoholic beverage that offered an alternative to heavier beers and traditional mixed drinks. Its fruit-forward lineup and relatively approachable 5% alcohol by volume helped attract consumers looking for something easy to serve at parties, outdoor gatherings, sporting events and casual social occasions.

Over the years, Truly has continued to expand its flavor selection and product offerings. The brand has developed numerous varieties built around berry, citrus and tropical fruit profiles, along with lemonade-inspired options and seasonal limited releases. Its variety packs allow consumers to sample several flavors in one package, while newer products have given the company opportunities to reach drinkers looking for different alcohol strengths and flavor experiences.

One of the more recognizable additions is Truly Unruly, which offers stronger hard seltzer options at 8% ABV. The higher-alcohol lineup gives Truly another position in the competitive flavored alcoholic beverage category, where brands continue to experiment with stronger formulations, new flavor combinations and different packaging formats. The distinction between the traditional 5% ABV Truly products and 8% ABV Unruly selections is particularly relevant to the new Friendsgiving Potluck Pack, which combines options from both parts of the portfolio.

Truly has also invested heavily in marketing that connects its products with cultural events, sports, entertainment and seasonal celebrations. From summer promotions and limited-edition flavors to partnerships and holiday-themed campaigns, the brand has consistently looked for ways to remain relevant as consumer preferences change. The new Truly Potluck Pack is another example of that approach, taking an established product category and connecting it with a specific social occasion.

The Truly Hard Seltzer Friendsgiving Potluck Pack puts particular emphasis on customization. Rather than simply selling another predetermined assortment, Truly allows customers to provide information about the food being served and the flavor preferences of their guests. The resulting 12-pack is designed to complement the menu, with suggested pairings that include Truly Wild Berry with turkey and stuffing, Truly Lemonade with sweet potato casserole and Truly Unruly Citrus Crush with pumpkin pie.

The company behind Truly, The Boston Beer Company, has an extensive portfolio of recognizable beverage brands. Samuel Adams remains its flagship beer business, while Dogfish Head brings an established craft brewing identity and a history of experimental beers. Other brands include Angry Orchard Hard Cider, Twisted Tea Hard Iced Tea and Sun Cruiser. Together, these businesses give Boston Beer exposure to several different segments of the American alcoholic beverage market.

Boston Beer has also maintained a focus on product development and innovation, applying its experience in brewing and beverage production to categories beyond traditional beer. The company’s history includes helping develop the modern American craft beer market, expanding hard cider distribution and becoming a major participant in the hard seltzer and hard tea categories.

The Boston Beer Company operates taprooms and hospitality locations in Delaware, Massachusetts, New York and Ohio, providing opportunities for consumers to experience its brands beyond traditional retail distribution. Its combination of established beer brands and newer beyond-beer products continues to shape the company’s position in the U.S. beverage business.

Truly Hard Seltzer remains an important part of that strategy, with its broad flavor portfolio and seasonal offerings providing a way to reach consumers who may not necessarily be looking for traditional beer. From its original fruit-flavored hard seltzers to Truly Unruly and customized seasonal packages, the brand continues to develop products around changing drinking occasions.
