Tyranena Brewing Continues Tasting Room Battle

Here We Go Again…
The City of Lake Mills Plan Commission has once again taken up the new zoning code for the City of Lake Mills. And the City Manager has fired the first salvos of anti-Tyranena Brewing rhetoric: "They’re not a Tasting Room. They don’t meet the state legal requirements for a Tasting Room." Followed by: "We’re not going to play that we’re ignoring our fiduciary responsibilities any more," and "We’re going to have to figure out how to put them back into a Tasting Room."  Looks like its going to be a battle to continue doing business in the City of Lake Mills as we have for the last 13 years… We may just be asking for your assistance once again in the days ahead.

Here We Go Again (Part II)… 
Jesse Valentine, our newest assistant brewer, started work at the brewery on Monday. He has six years of brewing experience at Moose’s Tooth, a brewery out of Anchorage, Alaska. I have high hopes… let’s hope he lasts! Jesse will be one of those brewers that doesn’t lose 20 to 30 pounds in the weeks after starting here… He is already pretty darn fit. I’m just crossing my fingers that we will not be writing of our next new brewer in another six months!
