Tröegs Releasing Scratch 559 Blueberry Gose

Tröegs Independent Brewing is giving beer fans another reason to make the trip to Hershey, Pennsylvania, with the latest installment of its experimental Scratch Series. Scratch #559 takes the brewery in a distinctly tart, fruity and refreshing direction by revisiting the traditional German Gose style.

The new Tröegs Scratch #559 Blueberry Gose combines plump blueberries with orange peel and pink Himalayan salt, creating a beer designed around the sweet-tart character of blueberry jam and the bright acidity associated with a classic Gose. At just 3.7% ABV, it also arrives as an exceptionally approachable summer beer.

As with many of Tröegs’ Scratch beers, availability is intentionally limited. Scratch #559 is being offered exclusively on draft at the Tröegs brewery, giving visitors another reason to stop by the Hershey brewery and experience one of the latest beers emerging from the brewery’s ongoing small-batch experimentation.
