Schlafly Beer opened it’s doors on December 26th, 1991 and is now St. Louis, MO’s largest locally owned brewery. On January 5th, 2013, Schlafly Beer hosted a free 21st Birthday Party at The Pageant in St. Louis, MO with music by Old Lights, Bunnygrunt, and Bottle Rockets. Before the Bottle Rockets took the stage, Schlafly Beer co-founder, Tom Schlafly addressed the crowd to thank Schlafly Beer employees and fans for 21 great years.
