Terrapin Brewing–Rye Squared & Monk’s Revenge 2011

Here’s yet another great packaging change from our pal Spike @ Terrapin Brewing.  This one is Rye Squared (from the Monster Beer Tour) and it’s an update to an existing beer, and a beer I really like.  This is a big 8.5% ABV Imperial Pale with rye malt and 80 IBU and according to Spike, a great beer to cellar. (“twice the malt twice the hop.”) 

Monk’s Revenge is a 2011 packaging update to an existing beer also.  Monk’s Revenge is a combination Belgian Tripel and American Double  IPA that comes in at a big 9.8% ABV and 99IBU and also ages very well.  These are both 12oz bottle packaging updates for 2011 (Note the Vintage:  2011 edging on both bottles).
