Sun King July Releases: Six Finger Discount, Fistful of Hops Orange, Velour Soccer Man & Drink On And Prosper

• Six Finger Discount – A 6th Anniversary beer- Limited can release – 12oz cans are available at Sun King Brewery! A Sun King Session Saison. Shaped with a strain of wild yeast seized from our sour space, Six Finger Discount is dry and fruity, with a sprinkling of spice, which makes it superb for summertime sipping. • 7/2 Can Release Date

• Fistful of Hops Orange – Fistful of Hops is our quarterly series of four IPAs, each with the same malt base. We balance that base against a seasonal "fistful of hops" – each time a different variety. Our 2015 release blends Mandarina, Equinox, and Galaxy hops for pronounced flavors of citrus and tropical fruit.• 7/7 Can Release Date

• Drink on And Prosper – The Official Beer of Gen Con  – Captain’s log, Stardate 68952.7: After spending four days at warp speed, the brewers from Sun King reached the red planet, where our arrival was celebrated with the most illogical drink: brown sugar sweetness and flavors of caramelized dark fruit cloaked inside what appeared to be a blonde ale.  Despite our disbelief, we all agreed- when you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, however, improbable, must be the truth.  • 7/20 Can Release Date • 7/29 Tapping Party on Georgia Street

• Velour Soccer Mom – A crisp Sour Ale that is aged in oak barrels with fresh raspberries and hibiscus. It has a light body with a pink hue and was fermented with Brettanomyces, a wild yeast that lends a delightfully tart character.  • 7/23 Can Release Date noon at both Sun King Brewery & Sun King Fishers Tap Room (limit 2 2-packs per purchase)

Big things are happening with the Sun King • Gen Con 2015 partnership.  For the first time in 4 years of partnership, the 2015 Official Beer of Gen Con, Drink On and Prosper will be available in commemorative collectable cans!

Cans will be available starting July 20th at the brewery and in various retail locations.  They will also be available at the Sun King Beer Garden on Georgia Street (while supplies last).

• SKB and Gen Con will "Unofficially" kick-off the Best Four Days In Gaming on Wednesday, July 29th 6pm – 10pm – join Sun King for a very special, never before, CAN release and tapping party of Drink On and Prosper, the Official Beer of Gen Con 2015.  A very limited tapping of Bourbon Barrel-Aged Froth of Kahn (Official Beer of Gen Con 2014) will be released during the party.  Live music begins at 6pm with bands Double Clicks and Hero Jr.
