Sun King Adding SKB IPA Cans

Today we have an interesting new beer coming to cans from Sun King Brewery in Indianapolis, IN.  This is SKB IPA and it is an IPA brewed with American hops for “long-lasting aroma and flavor.”  This new beer will be packaged in 12oz Ball cans…stay tuned for AbV and release info.

Introducing SKB IPA – New Year-Round India Pale Ale

Since opening in 2009, Sun King Brewery has remained focused on presenting beer in its best possible state. Cold storage was a steadfast policy for all Sun King beers until a reformulation of brewery mainstays Sunlight Cream Ale and Wee Mac Scottish-style Ale brought those beers to warm shelves in 2016. A handful of seasonal selections soon followed, but one particular type of Sun King beer remained cold-only: hoppy beers like Pale Ale and IPA.
Armed with this knowledge, and committed to giving drinkers the hoppy experience they deserved, Sun King began work on a new IPA that could withstand less-than-perfect storage conditions. This is part one of the story of that beer: SKB IPA.
SKB IPA is available year-round in 12oz cans 6-packs and draft.
