Seattle Cider Co. Earns Gold, Silver and Bronze at the 2026 Northwest Cider Cup

Awards across three distinct cider styles highlight Seattle Cider’s ability to stand out in one of the country’s most competitive cider-producing regions. 

CORVALLIS, Ore., June 30, 2026 — Seattle Cider Co. earned Gold, Silver and Bronze medals at the 13th Annual Northwest Cider Cup, one of the Pacific Northwest’s premier cider competitions, reinforcing the brand’s reputation for crafting cider that celebrate the fruit, creativity and adventurous spirit of the Pacific Northwest.

Founded by cidermakers and organized by the Northwest Cider Association, the Northwest Cider Cup celebrates the region’s finest commercial ciders and perries. This year’s competition featured 236 entries from across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and British Columbia, with only 25 percent earning medals following a rigorous blind evaluation by trained industry judges.

“The Pacific Northwest has established itself as the heart of American cider, delivering one-quarter of all U.S. cider sales despite representing just over four percent of the nation’s population,” said Emily Ritchie, executive director of the Northwest Cider Association. “That concentration of talented cider makers creates an exceptionally competitive field, making recognition at the Northwest Cider Cup a meaningful achievement.”

Seattle Cider’s 2026 Northwest Cider Cup honors include:

Gold – Basil Mint – Botanical / Herbed / Spiced / Hopped

Silver- 2024 City Fruit – Low-Tannin Ciders (Dry)

Bronze – Honeycrisp – Low-Tannin Ciders (Sweet)
