SABMiller Chinese Partner Snow Breweries To Buy Kingway Brewery for $864 Million

Brewer and bottling company SABMiller PLC (SAB.LN), said Tuesday that China Resources Snow Breweries Ltd, its joint venture with China Resources Enterprise, Ltd (CRE), has entered into an agreement with Kingway Brewery Holdings Ltd to acquire its brewery business, for a total cash consideration of CNY5.38 billion (S$864 million).
The Brewery Business comprises seven breweries
-Total annual production capacity of the Brewery Business is 14.5 million hectolitres. In 2011, the Brewery Business sold 9.3 million hectolitres of beer.
