Another new brewery joins the ranks…and today it’s Pig Minds from Machesney Park, IL. Details from WIFR:
MACHESNEY PARK (WIFR) — A local brewery and restaurant officially opens for business in Machesney Park.
Taproom hours are Monday-Thursday: 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. , Friday & Saturday: 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m., and Sunday 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
The owners of Pig Minds Brewing Company held a ribbon cutting ceremony Wednesday for the new bar, which is located behind the Target, off of Route 173. The brewery specializes in handcrafted ales, with as many as ten different styles of beers on tap. Pig Minds co-founder Randy Yunk says craft beers have grown in popularity over the past few years and he doesn’t see that changing anytime soon.
