PA Cider Fest Coming 6/24

BIGLERVILLE, Pa. — May 19, 2017: There’s a hidden craft-beverage movement happening near

Gettysburg—and it’s not beer. In fact, it’s not just apples: Blueberries, cherries and other seasonal

favorites join apples as today’s hottest craft beverage. Sometimes sweet, sometimes tart, always crisp

and refreshing, hard cider is trending, and PA Cider Fest’s return for year two puts cider front and center

in “Cider Town” for the public and the media. PA Cider Fest is the only event of its kind in Pennsylvania,

and the only festival that showcases Pennsylvania-made ciders, cheeses and other artisan products.

THE MAIN EVENT:

Rub elbows with cider makers, who will be joined on Saturday, June 24, by cheese makers, other

artisans and vendors on the rolling hills of the Hauser Estate in the heart of Pennsylvania’s apple

country. Sample Pennsylvania-made cider from Armstrong Valley Winery, Arsenal Cider House, Bad

Apple Ciderwerks, Big Hill Ciderworks, Banters Hard Cider, Broad Mountain Vineyard, Frecon’s Cidery,

Dressler Estate, Good Intent Cider, Hardball Cider, Jack’s Hard Cider, Knockin’ Noggin Cidery & Winery,

Kurant Cider, Lancaster County Cider, Original 13 Ciderworks, Ploughman Farm Cider, Reid’s Winery &

Cider House, Stone & Key Cellars, The Vineyard at Hershey and Wyndridge Farm.

COST: Before June 23, tickets are $25 online; on June 24, tickets are $30 at the gate only.
