About Grist House Command:

Grist House Command is a new Grist House Craft Brewery location in Oakdale, PA, situated in the former Nike Missile Command Center during the Cold War. This 55,000-square-foot building will house the brewery’s main production facility, a large taproom, and retail space, with an extensive barrel-aging program and a full kitchen offering food for the first time from the brewery. The location also features event spaces for rentals, a second taproom, and a blog with updates on their opening and brewing progress, though it was temporarily closed as of recent information. 
History and Location

Former Nike Command Center:
The Grist House Command building was once the primary command center for Nike missiles during the Cold War. 

Location:
The facility is located in Collier Township, near Oakdale, PA, at 301 Sgt. Messerschmidt Road. 
Brewery Features

Production Facility:
The site serves as the main production facility for Grist House Craft Brewery, enabling a large-scale brewing operation and an extensive barrel-aging program. 

Taproom and Retail:
It will include a large taproom with scenic views and retail space. 

Full Kitchen:
For the first time, Grist House will be offering food with the opening of a complete kitchen at this location. 

Event Space:
The venue also offers event spaces for various functions, such as weddings and concerts. 
Current Status & Updates

Opening Soon: The facility was in the process of opening, with plans to brew their first batch of beer on-site in the near future. 

Temporary Closure: As of recent updates, Grist House Command was temporarily closed.
