Looking for an interesting beer to toast the New Year with? The check out the new label approval for Frankenmuth Brewery (from Frankenmuth MI) for their 2011 New Year Stout. These will be bottled in a special 33oz (1 liter) numbered bottles and come in at 10% ABV and 76 IBU. This beer is “a hybrid between a Russian Imperial Stout and an American Stout. This lager is jet black, smooth and tasty.” Should be an interesting brew if we get to see any in PA.
