Today I have your first peek at two new 2027 vintage beers coming from Firestone Walker Brewing Company in Paso Robles, California, and both releases continue the brewery’s long-running tradition of producing big, complex and highly anticipated beers for serious craft beer fans.

First up is Firestone Walker 2027 Parabola, the latest vintage of Firestone Walker’s celebrated imperial stout. The 2027 Parabola will remain an imperial stout matured in Bourbon barrels and is scheduled to come in at 13% ABV. The beer will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles, continuing the familiar format associated with Firestone Walker’s limited vintage releases.

Parabola has become one of the defining beers in Firestone Walker’s barrel-aged lineup. Previous MyBeerBuzz coverage has documented the annual evolution of Parabola, including the 2026 Parabola, which marked the beer’s 18th vintage and was aged in a blend of Henry McKenna and Elijah Craig Bourbon barrels.

The second new beer is 2027 Julian, a 14% ABV barleywine ale that will be part of the Firestone Walker Brewmaster’s Collective. Like Parabola, Julian will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles, placing this powerful barleywine firmly among the brewery’s collectible vintage releases.

At 14% ABV, 2027 Julian represents another substantial entry in Firestone Walker’s lineup of strong ales. The brewery has a long history of exploring high-gravity beers, barrel aging and specialty releases through its Vintage Series and Brewmaster’s Collective. Recent Collective releases have included barrel-aged barleywines and other high-strength specialty beers, demonstrating the program’s emphasis on limited and distinctive brewing projects.
