This fully-functional 5,000 sq ft brewery is located in Fairfield, NJ and includes:

Seasonal beer garden, 12 tables and 60 chairs
15 BBL Brewhouse with a columbia boiler, 8 beer fermenters, 7 bright tanks, a large cold box with 2 chiller units, and various infrastructure equipment

Cricket Hill Brewery is one of New Jersey’s original craft breweries, operating in Fairfield since 2001. The brewery was put up for sale in late 2025 by its retiring owners, Rick and Ed.

A taproom with 16 taps, a bar area, and seating for over 60 people indoors.

The taproom features 12 to 16 beers on tap, including year-round, seasonal, and small-batch brews.

Some weekend taproom hours include live music.
The space is also available for rent for private events.
Beer selection
Cricket Hill produces a wide variety of beers, brewed with grains such as barley and wheat and without filler grains like rice or corn. Their portfolio includes:
Ales: IPAs, hazy IPAs, Belgian ales, and barrel-aged selections.
Lagers: Including their flagship East Coast Lager.
Stouts and Porters: Such as Milkman Oatmeal Stout and Psycho Cricket Porter.
Seasonal and special releases: Including Pumpkin Ale, Oktoberfest Lager, and Bourbon Barrel-aged beers.
Popular brews include:Hopnotic IPA, an English IPA with notes of grapefruit and tropical fruit.

History
Established: 2001.
Early years: It was the sixth brewery to open in New Jersey and struggled initially, but ownership persevered as the state’s craft beer market expanded.
Milestone: Celebrated 15 years in business in 2016, with its owner noting the growth of the local craft beer scene.
Owner retirement: In 2025, after more than two decades, the brewery was put on the market for new owners.
