Cigar City / Max Lager’s – Black Ash American Black Lager

Here’s an exciting (and dark) new beer coming from Cigar City. This beer is called Black Ash American Lager and it is brewed for Max Lager’s Wood-Fired Grill & Brewery. This collaboration brew with Wayne Wambles from Cigar City and John Roberts of Max Lager’s and it uses Bohemian floor-malted dark malt, dark Munich & chocolate what as well as Mt. Rainer, Pacific Gem & Brewers Gold hops. If that’s not enough fun, the beer is aged on black ash wood. Black Ash will be packaged in 750ml and 22oz bottles (below) as well as 12oz cans.
