Boulevard Brewing Boulevardia Festival Will Not Return In 2026
I’m sad to report that Boulevard Berwing’s Boulevardia Music & Beer Festival will not return in 2026.
From Boulevardia:
After 10 unforgettable years of beers, beats, makers, magic, and the best fans in the world, we’ve decided that last year’s 10th anniversary celebration will stand as Boulevardia’s grand finale.
Boulevardia, the beloved beer and music’ festival produced by Boulevard Brewing Company, has officially reached its end. Following a decade of vibrant celebrations in downtown Kansas City, organizers confirmed on January 8, 2026, that the 2025 event marked the festival’s final chapter.
Launched in 2015 as a bold initiative to showcase the region’s creative energy, Boulevardia quickly became one of the city’s most anticipated summer festivals. Each year transformed Crown Center and nearby streets into a bustling “pop-up party,” where craft beer flows freely, live music fills the air, and local artisans display their wares. Early lineups featured national acts like Thundercat, Milky Chance, Dashboard Confessional, Young the Giant, and Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, while the 2024 edition, headlined by Kansas City’s own Tech N9ne celebrated the festival’s 10th anniversary.
In a joint announcement shared via a Facebook post and the festival’s website, the board of directors delivered the bittersweet news: “After 10 unforgettable years of beers, beats, makers, magic and the best fans in the world, we’ve decided that last year’s 10th anniversary celebration will stand as Boulevardia’s grand finale.” They added, “From transforming city blocks into pop-up nations to showcasing the best of KC music, culture, food and creativity — we’ve loved every wild, beautiful minute of this ride.”
While the announcement did not include specifics regarding the decision to end the festival, organizers expressed deep gratitude to everyone who supported Boulevardia over the years—attendees, artists, vendors, sponsors, volunteers, and the broader Kansas City community.
For ten years, Boulevardia succeeded in uniting beer lovers, music fans, and local creatives under one festive banner—a uniquely Kansas City experience. Though this chapter has closed, the festival’s legacy lives on in the city’s memory: the joy of raising a pint, discovering local art, dancing in the streets, and celebrating community spirit.
As Boulevard Brewing Company and festival organizers bid farewell to Boulevardia, they invite supporters to cherish the memories forged over a decade’s worth of summer weekends.
