Anheuser-Busch Delivered More Than 50,000 Cans of Emergency Drinking Water to Washington State Following Severe Flooding

December 23, 2025  – St. Louis, Missouri – At the request of the American Red Cross, Anheuser-Busch delivered one truckload – more than 50,000 cans – of emergency drinking water to support residents of western Washington State and first responders following severe flooding in the area. 

The donation of emergency drinking water was delivered to Anheuser-Busch wholly-owned wholesaler Anheuser-Busch Sales of Washington in Arlington, Washington, which is working alongside the American Red Cross to distribute the resources to community members and organizations in need.  

“The American Red Cross is deeply grateful to Anheuser-Busch for their generous donation and delivery of safe drinking water following the severe flooding in Washington,” said Lauren Ulrich, Executive Director of Operations Management and Logistics for the American Red Cross. “We appreciate their ongoing support of our mission and feel fortunate to count them as partners. ” 

The 50,000+ cans of water were sourced from Anheuser-Busch’s brewery in Fort Collins, Colorado, which, alongside the Cartersville, Georgia brewery, periodically pauses beer production to can emergency drinking water and help communities in times of disaster. 

Anheuser-Busch has a longstanding tradition of providing support for disaster relief efforts in partnership with the American Red Cross, dating back to 1906. Since the inception of the emergency drinking water program in 1988, Anheuser-Busch and its wholesaler partners have donated more than 100 million cans of clean, safe drinking water to communities and volunteer fire departments in support of ongoing disaster relief and preparedness efforts.
