Firestone Walker 2027 Parabola & Julian

Today I have your first peek at two new 2027 vintage beers coming from Firestone Walker Brewing Company in Paso Robles, California, and both releases continue the brewery’s long-running tradition of producing big, complex and highly anticipated beers for serious craft beer fans.

First up is Firestone Walker 2027 Parabola, the latest vintage of Firestone Walker’s celebrated imperial stout. The 2027 Parabola will remain an imperial stout matured in Bourbon barrels and is scheduled to come in at 13% ABV. The beer will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles, continuing the familiar format associated with Firestone Walker’s limited vintage releases.

Parabola has become one of the defining beers in Firestone Walker’s barrel-aged lineup. Previous MyBeerBuzz coverage has documented the annual evolution of Parabola, including the 2026 Parabola, which marked the beer’s 18th vintage and was aged in a blend of Henry McKenna and Elijah Craig Bourbon barrels.Firestone Walker 2027 Julian

The second new beer is 2027 Julian, a 14% ABV barleywine ale that will be part of the Firestone Walker Brewmaster’s Collective. Like Parabola, Julian will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles, placing this powerful barleywine firmly among the brewery’s collectible vintage releases.

At 14% ABV, 2027 Julian represents another substantial entry in Firestone Walker’s lineup of strong ales. The brewery has a long history of exploring high-gravity beers, barrel aging and specialty releases through its Vintage Series and Brewmaster’s Collective. Recent Collective releases have included barrel-aged barleywines and other high-strength specialty beers, demonstrating the program’s emphasis on limited and distinctive brewing projects.

For fans of Firestone Walker 2027 Parabola, Firestone Walker barleywine, Bourbon barrel-aged beer and limited vintage releases, these two 2027 beers are worth watching as additional information becomes available.

The early specifications are straightforward: 2027 Parabola is a 13% ABV Bourbon-barrel-matured imperial stout, while 2027 Julian is a 14% ABV barleywine ale joining the Brewmaster’s Collective. Both beers are slated for 12-ounce bottles.

Release dates, distribution information, production quantities and additional tasting details have not yet been announced here, so stay tuned for more information as Firestone Walker prepares these two 2027 vintage beers for release.

Firestone Walker 2027 Parabola and Julian are already shaping up as two notable additions to the brewery’s continuing tradition of powerful vintage beers from Paso Robles.

About Firestone Walker Brewing Company

Firestone Walker Brewing Company is a California craft brewery with a long-standing reputation for innovative brewing, barrel-aged beer and distinctive Central Coast character. Founded in 1996 by brothers-in-law Adam Firestone and David Walker, the brewery began with a passion for creating exceptional beer and grew into one of the best-known names in American craft brewing. The brewery’s roots are closely connected to California’s Central Coast, with its primary brewing operation located in Paso Robles, California, a region better known for wine but also home to a vibrant and influential craft beer culture.

Firestone Walker’s portfolio spans a wide range of beer styles, from approachable everyday favorites to highly limited vintage releases. The brewery is particularly associated with beers such as 805, Mind Haze, Cali Squeeze, DBA, Union Jack and Pivo Pils, while its Vintage Series showcases a more intense side of the brewing operation. Among those beers, Parabola has become one of the brewery’s most recognizable barrel-aged imperial stouts.

The brewery’s barrel-aging tradition is an important part of the Firestone Walker story. Its specialty beer programs have produced Bourbon barrel-aged stouts, barleywines, anniversary ales, collaborations and other high-gravity beers that are often released in limited quantities. The brewery has also developed the Brewmaster’s Collective, a program centered on rare, exclusive and experimental beers. Recent Collective releases have included barrel-aged stouts, strong ales, barleywines and collaborations, demonstrating the range of styles explored through the program.

Firestone Walker’s brewing history also includes the development of its distinctive Double Barrel Ale, better known as DBA, and the brewery’s longstanding interest in traditional brewing techniques combined with California-inspired creativity. Over the years, Firestone Walker expanded its operations beyond Paso Robles, establishing Barrelworks in Buellton for wild and mixed-fermentation beers and The Propagator in Venice as a small-batch research and development brewing facility.

The brewery’s barrel-aged beers have become especially important to collectors and enthusiasts who follow vintage releases. Each annual vintage can offer a new interpretation of a familiar beer, making releases such as Parabola a recurring point of interest for fans of imperial stout, Bourbon barrel-aged beer and cellar-worthy craft beer. The upcoming 2027 Parabola continues that tradition with a 13% ABV Bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout.

Meanwhile, 2027 Julian adds another high-gravity option to the Firestone Walker lineup. As a 14% ABV barleywine ale scheduled for the Brewmaster’s Collective, Julian fits naturally into the brewery’s continuing exploration of strong ales, barrel-aged beers and limited-production specialty releases.

Today, Firestone Walker Brewing Company remains closely associated with California craft beer, Paso Robles brewing and innovative barrel-aged beer. From widely distributed flagship beers to rare Brewmaster’s Collective bottles, the brewery continues to maintain a portfolio that covers everyday drinking, experimental brewing and serious vintage beer collecting. For fans tracking new Firestone Walker releases, the arrival of 2027 Parabola and 2027 Julian offers another look at the brewery’s continuing commitment to high-gravity brewing and distinctive limited-release beer.
