Some of my take-aways from the article are that less is more: don’t overload your e-mail with paragraph after paragraph. Get to the point and catch your reader’s attention right away. Encourage more interaction and make your social media buttons prominent. Make it worth their while to interact with you by providing coupons or special offers. Show-off what you do best with an eye-catching photograph.

These are the 10 Do’s & Don’ts of e-Mail marketing and as you can see there are a lot of right, and wrong ways to do it. I particularly like number 8 and I wish I had realized how important it would be to hit users in different time zones at different times.
