WINNIPEG – A local brewery is once again creating Queer Beer, and donating some of the proceeds to Prince Winnipeg.
Half Pints Brewing is launching the beer May 19. The German pilsner has a slight fruity aroma that comes from the zythos hops used in the brewing process.
Last year, the beer sold out in a manner of days, but plenty will be saved for the beer tents following Pride Winnipeg’s parade June 3, the brewery said.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Pride Winnipeg festival.
