Here’s a new beer from the Widmer Brothers Reserve Series called Kill Devil Brown Ale. This is their 6th brew in the limited edition series, it will be out in Spring 2012 in 22oz bottles. This big 9.5% ABV brew is 90% ale brewed with palm sugar & molasses (Barbados & Blackstrap) & aged in Puerto Rican rum barrels (the other 10% is brown ale) with Calypso hops….and it sounds great.
