Urban South – HTX Opens its Doors in Houston’s Sawyer Yards

WHAT: Urban South – HTX, a new brewery in Houston’s Sawyer Yards District, is officially open for business as of February 29. The brewery celebrated its grand opening over the weekend with over 1,000 guests and a variety of draft and packaged beer offerings. Urban South – HTX marks the first satellite location for Urban South Brewery, the largest craft brewery in New Orleans.

Urban South – HTX is now open to the public seven days a week from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Visitors can expect additional beer releases as Urban South – HTX continues to put its own creative twist on traditional beer styles that won’t be found elsewhere. The taproom will host regular events throughout the year, kicking off with a sour beer celebration on March 28.
