Here’s a glimpse of our three new foeders that just arrived at the brewery! Handcrafted in Italy, these 90-hectoliter artisanal wooden vessels will be used in conjunction with our Splinter Beer Series. We’ve been actively involved in the entire assembly process – everything from selecting the wood (a blend of French and Hungarian oak) to determining the contours of each slat to approving the finished product. With the foeders in place, we plan to expand our cork & cage series to include a line of tart fruit beers as well as other sour and barrel-aged beers to be released under the Splinter Beer Series.
