Troegs Scratch No 299 Weizenbock / No 285 IPA Passion Fruit Coming Soon

Today we get our first peek at a new Scratch Series beer coming from Troegs.  This is No 299 and it is a Weizenbock beer.  This beer will use Tradition hops and Dreanweaver yeast and the beer hits 7%-AbV.  This beer will be released in 12oz bottles.  We also have No 285 IPA (Passion Fruit) Coming soon.

When our friend Matt @sodelconcepts in Delaware got a taste of Scratch #279 Kinetic IPA, his wheels started turning. With that as a jumping-off point, could we collaborate on a passionfruit IPA? Here’s the first batch, with a huge smack of tropical fruit and hints of pine around the edges. Draft and growler fills available now at the brewery, and in the not-too-distant future @sodelconcepts.
