Occasionally referred to as “The Grain Moon,” tonight’s full moon is the perfect time to introduce Scratch #111 – HopCyclone Harvest Ale! But don’t let connotations of “grain” fool you, because this sucker is hoppy! We begin with Columbus and Crystal hops for bittering, then further intensify the hop aroma by adding whole flower Mt. Hood hops to our hopback vessel. Finally, we apply a healthy dose of Galaxy and Motueka during dry-hopping to push this beer over the edge. Join us TODAY (8/20) in the Tasting Room at 11 a.m. for the first tapping of four firkins. Who knows? We might start referring to this full moon as the “Hop Moon.” It could catch on!
