Taft’s Brewing To Be Acquired By Cincinnati Beverage Company

Our beloved Taft’s Brewing Co brand is being acquired by Cincinnati Beverage Company. They’re known for producing iconic Cincy beer brands, and Taft’s will be joining their lineup alongside Hudepohl, Little Kings, and Christian Moerlein.

With this change also comes the very painful closure of our Taft’s Brewpourium Cincinnati taproom. Our final day of operation will be Sunday, December 29th. Our Brewpourium team has largely been with us since the existence of the taproom and are a really incredible group. We have shared local job opportunities with the team, but please comment or message us with any openings you know of.

We truly love Taft’s. It has been an incredible labor of love for over a decade. We’re beyond thrilled to keep Taft’s beers alive via Cincinnati Beverage and ensure these brews continue to be available to you throughout the city. A very special thank you to our long standing fans, friends, the city of Cincinnati and all who shared in the enjoyment of good beer together with us. We hope to see all of you in the coming weeks as we say a heartfelt farewell to the taproom.
