Tangy citrus, silky Reposado
Tequila Barrel-Aged Otra Vez goes on sale tomorrow (9/30) online. Near our breweries? Check the Gift Shops dates* before visiting.
Last summer we filled Reposado Tequila barrels with our Gose-style Otra Vez. More than a year later this ale, originally brewed with lime and agave, emerged with new notes of warm vanilla and fresh-cut wood. Otra’s tangy citrus and Reposado’s silky finish pack massive flavor into a modest 6.4% ABV.

Label Text Sierra Nevada Tequila Barrel-Aged Otra Vez:
“For this limited offering we pushed beyond the typical barrel-aged beer theory. We got our hands on some Reposado Tequila oak barrels and trhen aged our Otra Vez gose-style ale with lime and agave. This barrel-aged ale starts out tart yet juicy, with hints of lime. For the finish? The unmistakable silkiness of a classic Reposado.”
