Portland Cider Company is giving one of its driest year-round ciders a fresh new look while introducing a take-home format designed for sharing. Portland Cider True Brut, the company’s zero-sugar and zero-carb celebration-ready cider, is now arriving in 12-ounce six-packs alongside its existing 19.2-ounce Proper Pint cans.

While the packaging is changing, the cider inside remains the same. Portland Cider True Brut is fermented with champagne yeast and made with Northwest-grown apples, delivering crisp apple character, stone-fruit aromas, lively carbonation and a full-bodied mouthfeel before finishing exceptionally dry. At 6.9% ABV, it offers a sparkling alternative for occasions traditionally associated with wine.

The new packaging and six-pack format arrive as Portland Cider Company reports strong growth in Washington State, where retail sales data cited by the company shows a 67.8% year-over-year increase in dollar sales. Fresh packaging and a new take-home format arrive as the brand accelerates in Washington

CLACKAMAS, Ore. – September 2, 2026 – Portland Cider Company is giving True Brut, its zero-sugar, zero-carb, exceptionally dry, celebration-ready cider, a festive new look and a fresh way to bring the bubbles home. Beginning September 1, the year-round cider will be available for the first time in 12-ounce six-packs, in addition to the 19.2-ounce Proper Pint cans. All the cans have been redesigned to reflect the bright, bubbly cider inside.

The cider itself remains unchanged. Fermented with a sophisticated champagne yeast and made with Northwest-grown apples, Portland Cider True Brut delivers crisp apple notes, a stone-fruit aroma, assertive carbonation and a full-bodied mouthfeel, followed by a bone-dry finish. The 6.9% ABV cider has no sugar and zero carbohydrates per 12-ounce serving.

The expanded format arrives as Portland Cider builds strong momentum in Washington State. Recent retail sales data ranks Portland Cider as Washington’s fastest-growing established cider brand by dollar growth. Sales increased 67.8% in the state, year over year. The new six-pack gives Washington shoppers a familiar take-home format for one of Portland Cider’s driest year-round offerings.
