Penn Ginger Beer, Penndemonium, Berlinerweisse, & Penn American Pale Ale are on the Way

After a bone-chilling winter, who’s ready to raise a glass to spring? (Actually, who’s not?) We’re set to welcome the warmer weather with our spring releases: Penn Ginger Beer, Penndemonium, Berlinerweisse, and Penn American Pale Ale.
Penn Ginger Beer – our refreshing alcoholic ginger beer isn’t like a soft drink; it’s definitely beer, but crisp, with a little kick of spice from freshly-grated ginger root. Penn Ginger has an ABV of 4.5% and 10 IBUs, making it a nice, easy-drinking brew . It’s available for purchase in bottles – six-packs and cases of 24 – as well as on draft. Look for it starting in late March.
Penndemonium – our Maibock beer, a longtime classic German favorite here at Penn. Penndemonium is a robust, malty beer with a 7.5% ABV and 17 IBUs. It will be available in 22-oz bottles, as well as on draft beginning in April.
Berlinerweisse – German sour wheat that’s complex, earthy, and refreshingly tart, with very minimal hoppiness. Nicknamed the “Champagne of the North,” this beer style may be enjoyed with a shot of raspberry or woodruff syrup, according to German custom. ABV is 3.5%, and IBU level is 5. Available on draft beginning April 13.
Penn American Pale Ale – Our traditional American-style pale ale brewed with Pacific Northwest hops. Refreshing and perfect for enjoying at spring ball games and other warm-weather events. Penn APA has 5.5% ABV with 50 IBUs – one for each state! Now available for sale on draft.
