Beer. Food. Music. Fun. Get ready for Pittsburgh’s Oktoberfest Celebration:

September 20-22, September 27-29 and October 4-6.

O’zapft is! Sips about to get real here on Vinial as Penn Brewery’s Oktoberfest 2024 is back with what promises to be a biergarten full of Gemütlichkeit –you don’t want to miss out.
Holy Schnitzel! A new little event– Pittsburgh’s signature Oktoberfest event kicks off Thursday, September 19th with a new Munich-style firkin-keg tapping VIP-only Party and music by the
Polkamaniacs 4!
Then on Friday, September 20th Penn Brewery’s Oktoberfest opens to the general public. No cover, free parking! Admission is always free. So grab a friend and stop after work for a pretzel, beer and live Bavarian Music. Or make a weekend out of it because Sundays are bigger than ever in 2024 with full Family VIP Packages. We will be featuring not only Bavarian bands throughout the property but also
horse-drawn carriage rides, airbrush face-painting and a balloon artist.
We’ve got four floors here at 800 Vinial transformed into a little Munich with traditional favorites including local handmade
pierogies, sizzling kielbasa, sauerkraut, hot German potato salad and of course our freshest Oktoberfest beer served within view of the kettle in which it was brewed. Our signature Penn Brews on tap this year include Oktoberfest, Penn Pilsner, Penn Gold, Penn Dark, Pumpkin Roll Ale, Lemon Shandy and try our Penn Pumpkin Cider! Liquor and Wine also available.
Our lineup of bands includes
The Heritage Band (formerly Autobahn), Kevin Solecki, The Kosmix, Tom Allen, Mon Valley Push, Wally Merriman, Northcoast Mix, Jack Tady Polka Band and the Zolkas Band–all of them still wondering who the "fest" is Alice?!

All Friday and Saturday VIP tickets include $30 in O’Fest bucks for our famous Schweinebraten and other food options from the tent and a giant plastic yours-to-keep liter stein with 2 included beer fills.

As always our Oktoberfest never charges a cover or requires an advance ticket purchase.

We don’t take reservations for Oktoberfest, all tables outside of VIP will be first come,

first served. And after 8pm on Friday and Saturdays please leave the kids at home.

Beer.

Oktoberfest-style Beer. A rich, copper-colored Munich-style fest beer. Malty and medium-bodied, Penn Oktoberfest features nutty, toasty, slightly roasted, and caramel characteristics with well-balanced hop bitterness. And jugs, we got ’em.

Münchener/Bavarian Oktoberfest Alcohol content:  5.5% ABV

OG/plato:  12.8 FG/plato:  2.5 IBUs: 25 Hops:  Perle
Malt:  Two-row, Caramel, Dextrin, Vienna, Black Malt

Food.

No Oktoberfest would be complete without a delicious variety of our authentic Bavarian food options. We’ll be serving all your favorites – Schweinebraten, Sausage Baguettes, Local Handmade Pierogies, Fresh Pretzels, Sauerkraut, Hot German Potato Salad and more.
