The NFL season is almost here, and Bud Light is once again putting team pride at the center of its football-season packaging. For 2026, the brand is bringing back its popular Bud Light NFL team cans while introducing a new way for fans to represent their favorite teams wherever game day takes them.

The new Bud Light Can-O-Flage is designed to solve a familiar problem for traveling football fans: finding your team’s specific Bud Light NFL team cans outside its home market. The insulated sleeve slips over a standard can, transforming it into team-themed packaging while also helping keep the beer cold.

With 27 NFL team partnerships, new limited-edition cans, Fanatics merchandise and a campaign featuring Peyton Manning, George Kittle and Shane Gillis, Bud Light is making NFL fandom the focus of its 2026 football-season marketing. The campaign combines team pride, humor, collectibles and gameday experiences as fans prepare for another season of football.

Here are the full details from Bud Light on the 2026 NFL team cans and new Can-O-Flage innovation:

Alongside the return of its fan-favorite team cans, Bud Light’s Can-O-Flage is a new way for fans to go great lengths and bring their fandom anywhere this NFL season

Introducing the Exciting Bud Light NFL Team Cans for 2026

Key Facts:

  • -Bud Light’s team cans are back for the upcoming NFL season, as the Official Beer Sponsor of the NFL joins its 27 team partners in creating limited-edition products and packaging featuring team logos and colorways.
  • -This year, to help NFL fans showcase their team fandom wherever they are on gameday, Bud Light has partnered with Fanatics to create Can-O-Flage – an insulated sleeve that slips over any standard can, instantly turning your can into a team-specific Bud Light can.
  • -Pro Football Hall of Famer Peyton Manning, comedian and actor Shane Gillis and San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle star in a mix of new social content showcasing how they use Can-O-Flage to showcase their team pride.

NEW YORK, NY – SEPTEMBER 1, 2026 – Just days away from kicking off the 2026-2027 NFL season, Bud Light is making sure fans will always be able to rep their NFL team in style wherever they are this season.

The Official Beer Sponsor of the NFL is bringing back its fan-favorite NFL team cans, created alongside Bud Light’s 27 partner teams and featuring the iconic team logos and colorways.

But every NFL season, fans across the league are unable to get access to their favorite team’s can, whether they’ve moved out of their home team market or are traveling to rep their squad in a rival city. That’s why this season, alongside its team cans, Bud Light is also introducing a new version of camouflage, where fans will be able to stand out with team pride wherever they are all season long.

Can-O-Flage is Bud Light’s latest innovation that will allow fans to transform any can into their team’s Bud Light team can by simply slipping an insulated sleeve over any standard can. Whether hitting the stands at their home stadium, watching their team from the comfort of their friend’s couch, or traveling to another city’s tailgate, Can-O-Flage is available to fans 21+ across Bud Light’s 27 team partners, so team pride comes first.

Todd Allen, SVP of Marketing for Bud Light, said: “For years, NFL fans across the country have asked us how they can purchase their team’s Bud Light can if they don’t live in that area. This season, we’re excited to answer that call with Can-O-Flage. We’re going great lengths to make sure that diehard fans 21+ can rep their squad wherever they are this NFL season. Our ongoing partnership with Fanatics allowed us to create this must-have game-day accessory so fans across the league can hit any away game, tailgate or watch party in style.”

BUD LIGHT LEVELS UP NFL TEAM CANS WITH NEW CAN-O-FLAGE

Bud Light is already getting fans 21+ gameday ready with the return of its iconic Bud Light NFL team cans, for 27 partner teams across the league. Featuring full-bleed team colors, retro-inspired jersey stripe marks and bold team logos to show off your team spirit, fans can make it clear where their fandom stands. This year’s team cans also feature a scannable QR code that will give fans the chance to upgrade their gameday experience with prizes.

But Bud Light knows that team loyalty has no boundaries, and fandom runs deep as fans go great lengths to support their squad throughout the NFL season. Ultimately, having your team colors and logo is key when cracking open a cold one on gameday.

That’s why the brand is introducing “Can-O-Flage” — an insulated sleeve that looks just like your favorite Bud Light team can – is designed to keep your beer cold and allows you to always rep your team. It perfectly slips onto any standard can so fans can cheers to their team – even in opponent’s territory. Available for purchase across the Fanatics network of sites, including Fanatics.com, NFLShop.com and select online team stores, as well as ShopBeerGear.com, Can-O-Flage is available now for $39.99 while supplies last.

NEW SOCIAL CONTENT PUTS CAN-O-FLAGE IN ACTION

Bud Light is rolling out hilarious digital content featuring its all-star lineup of brand partners to help introduce the new Can-O-Flage innovation. Featuring Pro Football Hall of Famer Peyton Manning, comedian and actor Shane Gillis, and San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle, the brand released a series of new videos where the guys ensure they’re repping their team on gameday:

  • –Shane Gillis and George Kittle: The boys are posted up at the bar, grabbing a Bud Light when Shane is handed a 49ers can. That clearly doesn’t match his Eagles fandom, so he smoothly pulls out his Can-O-Flage, designed for times just like these, so he can still rep the Birds. (WATCH)
  • –George Kittle: When a buddy reaches out for a Titans team can, George promises he has the perfect thing and quickly intervenes to pass him the gold and red 49ers Can-O-Flage. (WATCH)
  • –Peyton Manning: When Peyton is in the fridge looking to grab some Bud Lights, he is lost in the sea of team cans. Unsure what to grab, the legend pulls out his Colts and Broncos Can-O-Flage so he can still show his support for both teams as he enjoys the game. (WATCH)

Peyton Manning, Pro Football Hall of Famer, said: “I personally appreciate Bud Light’s Can-O-Flage so I can rep the Colts or the Broncos and get ready for gameday wherever I am this NFL season. It’s another example of how Bud Light is always thinking about what they can do to turn up the fan game.”

George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers star, said: “The Faithful are the most dedicated fans out there and Bud Light’s Can-O-Flage only amplifies that passion by bringing the excitement of the Bay to any stadium. Getting the chance to create some content with my buddy Shane was also a blast…even though he’s an Eagles fan.”
