LUKI Brewery Hosts Gilmore Girls Day on February 27

LUKI taproom converts to Stars Hollow with trivia and themed giveaways; dress to impress as your favorite character

ARVADA, Colo. — Where you lead, LUKI Brewery will follow. As super fans of the iconic Gilmore Girls series, the Arvada-based brewery (14715 W 64th Ave Units A&B, Arvada, CO 80004) is hosting a celebration on Sunday, February 27 starting at noon that will include trivia with Geeks Who Drink, themed activations, giveaways and more.

This all-day event will make any Gilmore Girls fan swoon as Stars Hollow takes over the LUKI taproom. No cell phones allowed but do ask the grumpy guy behind the counter for some coffee, coffee, coffee from Red Silo Coffee Roasters or a Beermosa, while supplies last. There will be plenty of LUKI beer flowing and delicious eats from The Dapper Doughnut and Kolache House Bakery.

Dress Up as Your Favorite Character:
Have you always admired Emily’s skirt suits and haughty oppression? Or Lane’s ability to swiftly switch from a sensible cardigan to a tie-dye Woodstock sweatshirt in under ten seconds? Perhaps you have an affinity for grunting, flannel and backward baseball caps? For Gilmore Girls Day, costumes are highly encouraged so dress in character and receive 50% off your first beer.

Show Your Allegiance to Team Dean, Jess or Logan:
Who Rory should be with has become a polarizing topic of conversation causing family squabbles, stolen yachts and business deals gone wrong (poor Jason). Whether you’re Team Dean, Jess or Logan, settle the score once and for all from 1 to 3 p.m. by casting your vote. You will then be entered into a raffle for themed prizes. Must be present at 3 p.m. for the raffle prizes.

Gilmore Girls Trivia with Geeks Who Drink:
Who sings the show theme song? What does Rory shoplift after her first kiss? What real life town is Stars Hollow based on? If you know the answer to any of these questions then prepare to battle it out for Geeks Who Drink – The Gilmore Girls edition. Geeks Who Drink will be on the mic from 3:30 to 5 p.m.

There will be prizes and raffle tickets given throughout the day. At 5 p.m. LUKI will raffle off Gilmore Girls merchandise. You don’t want to miss this. Copper boom!
