Party Like a MOCK·STAR! Lift Bridge is bringing a brand new lineup of zero proof canned mocktails in an exciting new variety twelve pack containing 4 unique flavors: Negroni Spritz, Margarita, Moscow Mule, and Blackberry Tonic.

Lift Bridge once again finds itself on the cutting edge of a new trend in the local beverage scene. As one of the first local breweries to open a taproom in the state of Minnesota, among the first to produce and can hard seltzer, to craft locally made soda, to being one of the first local breweries to launch a year round hazy IPA, and now one of the first local breweries to produce zero proof cocktail inspired beverages. In recent years the trend towards non-alcoholic beverages, including mocktails, has skyrocketed. The segment as a whole has grown over 23% in Q3 of 2024 according to NIQ data, with zero proof spirits inspired beverages making up 89% of that growth.

Our Mocktail Series Variety Twelve Pack will be available not only in liquor stores, but also bars and restaurants, as we are seeing an increase in demand and requests for alcohol free options in the market both for on and off premise consumption.

Why Mocktail? Why now?

After the release of our wildly popular Grape Ape and subsequent Cocktail Series flavored malt beverages in early 2024, we noticed a groundswell of customers and retailers alike asking for a non-alcoholic option as the market shift towards sober or sober-curious continues to grow. Crafting a line of mocktails allowed us to get creative with the flavors we wanted to evoke so that they most resembled our favorite parts of the classic cocktails they are inspired by.

How are these beverages crafted?

For our alternative beverages – sodas, mocktails, flavored malt beverages like Grape Ape, and THC drinks – we achieve a perfect balance of flavor with sweetness and acidity, much like an expert mixologist, to create something that is palate pleasing.  Consistency of product from can to can or glass to glass comes with having rigid processes and all team members that are responsible along the way have agency to maintain high standards.

What is the difference between zero proof and non-alcoholic?

Our zero proof mocktails are not a fermented product, so they at no point contain alcohol. They are expertly crafted to resemble the flavor and experience of enjoying a cocktail without the alcohol. Oftentimes, non-alcoholic products begin as products that contain alcohol which then has to be stripped out of the product, leaving trace amounts of alcohol within the finished product.
