Nocturn Chrysalis batch 8 is here! Nocturn Chrysalis is our barrel-aged wild ale refermented with six pounds per gallon Marion Blackberries! Batch 8 ranks up there with the best of our Nocturn Chrysalis blends in our opinion. It’s decadently jammy, gorgeous in color, and has a beautiful, soft acidity with a hint of funk. We’re really proud of this blend and hope you enjoy it!

We’re happy to release RU55 Batch 9! RU55 is our barrel-aged Flanders-style red ale. About two years ago we brewed a wort with pilsner and caramel malt and barrel aged it. After about 24 months maturation, we blended and naturally conditioned. We like to keep our barrel-aged blends nice, soft, and mellow, which is what we did for RU55 Batch 9. Smooth and mellow with a nice dark fruit, caramel, leathery character, and a gorgeous copper/red color is what time, patience, and blending created. We’re happy to have this JK original back! 6.7% abv.

Our latest batch of Kollaborationsbier (batch 6) is out! Kollaborationsbier is Live Oak Pilz wort fermented in stainless steel with Jester King mixed culture. The Pilz wort is brewed at Live Oak and driven across town to Jester King for fermentation. This simple, crushable beer maintains much of the Live Oak Pilz character when young and fresh, then goes through a mixed culture metamorphosis in the bottle as it ages. 6.0% abv.
