Welcome back to another edition of the Idle Hands Craft Ales Newsletter. Yesterday was Truck Day in the city of Boston and while it may be a silly day to celebrate the Sox, it is a sign that baseball and spring are right around the corner. If you know us, you know how much we love baseball. Our Taproom has two Fenway seats, our beer names often feature a baseball theme, and we will use any excuse to get down to Fenway to catch a game.  We are ready for pitchers and catchers to report and hope you are too. How does this tie into beer?

Well this week we release a beer that will help you get through the rest of the winter. Four Horsemen finally rides again. Our Belgian Quad that represents the culmination of the 2017 brewing year is ready for release this Friday. Dark fruit character (plums, prunes, raisins and figs) create the foundation for flavors of citrus, gingerbread and allspice to play on top. This beer is perfect for enjoying by the fire with friends and family and to keep you warm until spring.

We are also very close to releasing our next beer in the Change Up IPA series. Change Up #11 features a new to us hop, Jarrylo. It is backed up by Palisade, El Dorado and Citra. Think flavors of banana, passion fruit and orange blossom. This is a beer to celebrate the start of baseball and it will be released about the same time as pitchers and catchers report to Fort Myers. Look for it in the Taproom early next week. Our social media accounts will post the details.
