Idle Hands Adding 34 Robust American Porter, Klara, Check Raise & Six Seam Cans

This is 34 from Idle Hands Brewing in Malden, MA.  This beer is a robust American porter that hits 6.7%-AbV.  This is the 16oz can with various sports themes… so stay tuned for release info.  We also have Six Seam New England double IPA (8.2%-AbV, 16oz cans), Check Raise American stout (6.4%-AbV, 16oz cans) & Klara Dortmund-style lager (5.5%-AbV, 16oz cans)

Idle Hands Craft Ales is releasing its new double dry-hopped, New England Double IPA called Six Seam this Wednesday at 3pm in its taproom.
Six Seam is the culmination of the last few rounds of the Idle Hands Change Up Rotating IPA series. Owner Chris Tkach and head brewer Brett Bauer utilized the Change Up program to test different hop varietals, processes, and recipes until they landed on the beer that has now become Six Seam. This latest IPA offering from Idle Hands completes their IPA lineup which also includes Two Seam Session IPA and Four Seam New England IPA.
Checking in at 8.2% ABV, Six Seam was produced with a focus on Mosaic® hops, which helps deliver the smooth, pillowy mouthfeel and reduced bitterness characteristic of New England IPAs. The taste delivers strong notes of peach, apricot, mango, and pineapple. A subtle spice character from the use of rye complements the increased hopping rates.
Six Seam will be available on draft and in 4-packs of 16 oz. cans in the Idle Hands taproom upon its open at 3pm on Wednesday, October 25. Idle Hands will only release its new flagship DIPA a few times a year, in limited quantities.
“If possible to throw, a Six Seam fastball would be the biggest, fastest pitch in baseball, so we feel it’s a fitting name of our new, double-dry hopped New England DIPA,” said Chris Tkach. “We were careful with all the hops though. We wanted to create a big, juicy taste, not just throw a ton of hops at it for the sake of it. The large amount of Mosaic help to produce a really nice blend of stone and tropical fruit flavors. People are really going to dig it.”
“The flavor is so absurd that it probably shouldn’t even exist, just like the mythical Six Seam fastball,” remarked Dan McDonnell, Tap Room Manager.
