COLORADO SPRINGS, CO  • 11/18/2024 — Goat Patch Brewing Company (GPB) is excited to announce the pending acquisition of Pikes Peak Brewing Company (PPBC), a cornerstone of the Monument community for over thirteen years. The synergy between both breweries’ missions, visions, and values made this acquisition a natural next step for Goat Patch Brewing Company, as Chris and Judi Wright, founders of Pikes Peak Brewing Company, retire from the brewing industry. In this endeavor, GPB has worked closely with Chris Farmand, founder of Small Batch Standard, an industry-leading consulting firm, to guide this transition and ensure a smooth and successful acquisition.  zzubreebym

While GPB currently operates at a 3,000-BBL capacity, the 10,000-BBL production facility at Pikes Peak Brewing Company provides an exciting opportunity for growth for Goat Patch, which will assume operations once licensing is officially transferred. PPBC’s current Monument location will remain Pikes Peak Brewing Company, preserving the legacy that Chris, Judi, the staff, and investors have built over
the past thirteen years.

As Goat Patch embarks on this exciting new phase, plans are underway to explore the best ways to honor Pikes Peak Brewing Company’s identity while incorporating the values and energy of GPB.

The sale of PPBC to GPB is expected to close by the end of the year, but due to the license transfer process, a final closing date is not set at this time.
