This evening I have some new beers coming to The Propagator Series from Firestone Walker in Paso Robles, CA. Order Of The Hop will be a collaboration cryo-hopped pale ale with hops from Yakima Chief Hops (5.6%-AbV) and Blanc Noise will be a hazy IPA that hits 6%. These are both 12oz cans and stay tuned for release info.
This 2 Sep 2021 update from Firestone Walker:
New Limited Release: Order of the Hop
The latest from our Propagator R&D Brewhouse is Order of the Hop, an out-of-this-world cryo-hopped pale ale brewed in collaboration with Yakima Chief Hops.
Order of the Hop gets its name from a prestigious award in the world of hop growing, but the name wasn’t chosen for just any reason. After Firestone Walker’s Matt Brynildson and Yakima Chief’s Pedro (Pete) Venegas were both nominated to The Order Of The Hop at the International Hop Growers Convention in Prague, the idea was sparked for the two teams to collaborate on a commemorative beer.
Order of the Hop features the new Cryo Pop™ blend from Yakima Chief Hops as well as two experimental hop varieties. The beer itself is pale ale featuring berry and tropical aromatics and coming in at 5.6% ABV.
Learn more about the beer and the story behind its creation in our latest blog, then have it delivered straight to your door by placing an order from our online store.
