Today you get your first look at the next release in the Elysian Brewing Oddland series of beers. This is Ginger Berry Brown Ale and in addition to ginger, it will use Raspberry, Blackberry and Boysenberry. Once again the artwork is by Jim Woodring and this beer will b e packaged in 22oz bottles and come in at 8% ABV.
From Elysian:
Berries are everywhere in the Northwest. They’re in our pies and along our driveways, creeping into our yards and now, into our beer. Oddland Ginger Berry Brown Ale is its own hybrid variety, a satisfying brown ale brewed with three kinds of local fruit–raspberry, blackberry and boysenberry, and given the thorny touch of juiced ginger. Add classic Northwest Centennial and Cascade hops and the only local product missing, perhaps, is an airplane.
