Crowdfunding Campaign “Growler Grunt” Fixes the Problem of Drying Growlers and Water Bottles

Salt Lake City, UT–

The Growler Grunt is an aluminum stand for drying growlers and water bottles that makes

drying simple. Rather than trying to awkwardly stand up growlers and water bottles, the Growler Grunt

acts as a stand to let water drain. It eliminates the risk of the bottle tipping over and breaking. The stand

also doubles as a paper towel stand when not holding a growler or bottle.

People who have tried to dry growlers and water bottles know it’s often difficult to stand them

up for drying. Water collecting in these bottles often leads to bacteria and water spots, potentially

ruining the next fill up. Pete Mercier, a motorsports engineer, came up with a solution in the form of the

Growler Grunt stand. It’s made in the United States from solid aluminum and industrial strength ball

ends.

The Growler Grunt just launched funding on Kickstarter and has reached over 25% of its funding

goal in the first few hours. $24 for one stand, saving $8 off retail.
