Cold Spring Brewing Invests In $12Million New Brewhouse

For seven years, Mike Feldhege has been a regional sales manager for Cold Spring Brewing Co.
He’s never been more optimistic that good times are ahead, and that’s likely because a new $12 million brewhouse opened by the company could put some bad memories to rest.
When Third Street Brewhouse comes online in just more than a week, Feldhege and many of the 200-plus employees should get a boost in self-esteem. Third Street, named after the vacated alley that bisects the company’s property along Red River Avenue, is the new destination for Cold Spring Brewing’s beer efforts.
Instead of the antiquated two-vessel setup in an old building, a gleaming five-tank, computerized system will take over and, perhaps most important, produce three new craft beers that will become signature offerings.
