Chicago’s Howells & Hood in Tribune Tower To Have 360 Tap Handles – Most In The World?

The restaurant will have three separate bars with 120 taps each that will flow from a glassed-in beer cooler in the center of the restaurant. Mr. Bisaillon says he believes the 360 taps will be the most of any restaurant in the world. Offerings will range from local craft brews to beer from around the globe. 

With its location at the entrance to North Michigan Avenue, Howells & Hood aims to attract locals, businesspeople and tourists. A big draw in warmer months will be the 300-seat patio on Pioneer Court. The patio will have a dedicated bar for service and seating, infrared heat lamps on the perimeter, greenery and a private area with two 13-by-13 umbrellas and a glassed-enclosed seating area with a granite-slab table for 16 that will also have a fire feature.
