Busch Light Apple Returning For A Limited Time

From Anheuser-Busch & Busch Light:

Busch Light Urges Fans to STOCK Up on Liquid Assets This Summer with a Beer Money Giveaway

St. Louis, MO  – April 29, 2025 – The famed Busch Light Apple is officially BACK. After years of fans pleading and even petitioning, Busch Light is finally giving the people what they want just in time for the summer. To help mark the momentous occasion, the brand has enlisted someone who has a core memory of what can go wrong if you don’t stock up on apple…

Ronald Wayne, a co-founder of one of the most influential computer companies in the world, famously liquidated his 10% stake in early 1976 for just $800 — a billion-dollar ‘whoops’ that history never forgot. But don’t worry, nearly 50 years later, he’s got his eye on a new apple, one that he knows the value of keeping in his portfolio (and fridge!). A Midwest native just like Busch Light Apple, Ronald’s not taking any chances. He’s here to tell America: this apple’s got serious potential — so grab it while it’s ripe. Check out the video HERE.

“Back then, I wasn’t confident enough to see the opportunity in front of me. This time, I know a good thing when I see it,” said Wayne. “When Busch Light Apple comes around, you don’t hesitate, you stock up. This is one opportunity I’m not letting slip away.”

U.S.-based 21+ fans who refuse to miss out on their favorite liquid asset can enter for a chance to win $800 in beer money to purchase Busch Light Apple. Take advantage of this a-peel-ing opportunity like Ronald Wayne by commenting #BLAppleStockUp and #Sweepstakes on Busch light’s social posts across Instagram, X and Facebook from April 30th through May 14th.*

Busch Light has seeded core-ageous ideas ever since this product innovation was first launched in 2020. First, the brand’s beloved, flannel-clad mascot Busch Guy introduced Busch Light Apple to the masses with a big tech-style presentation. Then, in 2021, Busch Light Apple was delivered by helicopter to fans through an epic airdrop. As much as Busch Light Apple’s fruitful fanbase loves this lager, the iconic beer saw its last year on shelves in 2022… until now.

Back in 2022, beer lovers would chase down trucks to get their hands on the prized product and stockpile cases to fill the apple-sized hole in their hearts. Fans created Facebook groups with thousands of members to mourn the loss of their favorite beer, and Reddit threads became a new home for those looking to connect with others who miss the signature sweet taste of Busch Light Apple.

Busch Light Apple tastes refreshing-to-the-core, offering a familiar cold, smooth sip that Busch Light fans know and love. With a zestful bite of crisp apple flavor, the lager leaves a touch of sweet on the front end, with a clear beer finish on the back end.

“One in every three comments on Busch Light’s social posts are from fans urging us to bring back Busch Light Apple, and we’ve read every single one,” said Krystyn Stowe, Head of Marketing Busch Family & Natural Family at Anheuser-Busch. “We have always listened to our fans and met them exactly where they are, which has catapulted the Busch Light brand to the top of the beer industry.”

As the second fastest-growing brand1 in the beer industry, Busch Light is no stranger to innovation. In 2023, the brand debuted Busch Light Peach, a limited-edition summer lager that smashed its first year in market as the #1 innovation across the entire beer industry2. Now, Busch Light Apple is back, cementing yet another major flavor innovation milestone for the brand.

With passion points rooted in fishing, hunting, farming, NASCAR, and country music, Busch Light has seen significant growth over the past five years by showing up where fans already are with a Busch Light in hand. Through consistent year-over-year marketing, Busch Light has become the #6 largest beer brand in the U.S.3 and the top beer brand in 10 different states4: Ohio, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Wisconsin, Arkansas, North Dakota, South Dakota, Illinois, and Missouri.

Busch Light Apple will be available for purchase at local retailers nationwide starting this May while supplies last. Fans should stock up now before this apple season ends and it’s too late to get their hands on the delicious beer.

For additional information, stay up to date by following @BuschBeer on Instagram, X and Facebook.
