"Basically, we were brewing German pilsner because it seems to be a very popular beer," Brenner said. It’s so popular they were making a double batch of the brew when someone grabbed German weiss beer yeast instead of pilsner yeast, changing the beer style.
Brenner rallied and added lemon, lime, orange zest, coriander and nutmeg to the recipe.
