Here’s the updated 750ml label fro Allagash Curieux Ale with 80% Aged in Bourbon Barrels. Curieux was Allagash’s first barrel-aged beer and it is based on a Tripel ale, aged in bourbon barrels for 8 weeks. This aged version is then blended with the un-aged Tripel to form Curieux…and yes it’s a big 11% ABV.
