Living The Dream Brewing Powder Run

Living The Dream Brewing is adding a nutty new twist to one of its most popular seasonal beer platforms with the arrival of Powder Run Pistachio Cream Ale. The Colorado brewery will officially debut the latest version of its Powder Run series on Friday, October 9, with a release party at its Highlands Ranch taproom. Following the launch, cans will begin appearing throughout Colorado, giving fans of the brewery another opportunity to enjoy this creative cream ale beyond the taproom.

Powder Run has become a versatile part of the Living The Dream Brewing lineup, beginning with the award-winning Powder Run Vanilla Cream Ale before expanding into inventive variations including Tangerine and Cinnamon Swirl. The pistachio version adds another layer of flavor while retaining the light-bodied character, vanilla notes and pillowy mouthfeel that define the Powder Run series. At 5% ABV, Powder Run Pistachio is positioned as an approachable seasonal beer for the transition from summer into fall.

The new pistachio cream ale also represents the growing popularity of a beer that previously generated enough enthusiasm on draft to earn a permanent place in the brewery’s quarterly packaged seasonal lineup. With Powder Run Pistachio available at both Living The Dream taprooms, in 12-ounce six-packs and through Colorado Craft Distributors, beer drinkers across the state will have multiple opportunities to find the latest release. Its combination of subtle pistachio character, creamy texture and easy-drinking strength makes it an intriguing addition to Colorado’s fall beer season.

The following is the official press release from Living The Dream Brewing announcing the arrival of Powder Run Pistachio Cream Ale.

COLORADO— Living The Dream Brewing will debut the latest iteration of the Powder Run series, Powder Run Pistachio Cream Ale, with a release party at its Highlands Ranch taproom on Friday, October 9. Cans of this beer will roll out across the state that week.

Living The Dream’s brewing team is always experimenting with new versions of Powder Run, a cream ale base that’s light-bodied with notes of vanilla and a pillowy mouthfeel. From the original award-winning Powder Run Vanilla Cream Ale to variants like Tangerine and Cinnamon Swirl, this beer is a versatile canvas for all kinds of flavor additions. Powder Run Pistachio was so popular when the brewery first served it on tap that it has gained a spot in Living The Dream’s packaged quarterly seasonal lineup.

Powder Run Pistachio strikes a balance between sweetness and nutiness. Its rich, earthy flavors are subtle, yielding a cream ale that’s still easy drinking at 5% ABV— perfect for the transition from summer to fall.

Find Powder Run Pistachio on tap at both Living The Dream taprooms in Highlands Ranch and Sterling Ranch, and in canned 12oz 6-packs to-go. It will also be available on draft and in cans across Colorado via Colorado Craft Distributors. Use the brewery Beer Finder to locate the closest Living The Dream beer.
