Stone Delicious Krush IPA Joins the Delicious Family

Today I have a new beer joining the Stone Delicious family from Stone Brewing: Stone Brewing Delicious Krush IPA. The new 2026 release takes the familiar Delicious IPA concept in a more sessionable direction, arriving at 5.5% ABV and packaged in 12 fl oz cans.

The can identifies the beer as Stone Brewing Delicious Krush IPA, immediately connecting it to one of Stone Brewing’s established IPA families. The original Stone Delicious IPA is known for its intensely citrus-driven character, while the newer Delicious releases have expanded that concept through different hop combinations and brewing approaches. Stone currently lists Delicious IPA, Delicious Hazy IPA, Delicious Double IPA and Delicious Tropical IPA among its beers.

What makes this new release particularly interesting is the Krush hop connection. Krush, also known as HBC 586, has become an increasingly recognizable modern hop variety, and Stone has already incorporated it into several recent beers. The brewery’s 2026 Pierce The Veil collaboration, for example, combines Krush with Centennial, Citra and El Dorado hops to create citrus and tropical-fruit character.

Stone Delicious Krush IPA also stands apart from the flagship Stone Delicious IPA through its 5.5% ABV. The current Stone Delicious IPA is listed at 7.7% ABV, while Delicious Hazy IPA is 7.2%, Delicious Double IPA is 9.4%, and Delicious Tropical IPA is 6.3%. That puts Delicious Krush at the lighter end of the current Delicious family.

Another important detail comes directly from the packaging: the can describes Stone Delicious Krush IPA as a gluten-reduced beer. Stone’s existing Delicious IPA is also identified by the brewery as gluten-reduced, with Stone explaining that it uses the enzyme Clarity-Ferm during fermentation to significantly reduce gluten levels. Stone notes that its Delicious IPA is not considered gluten-free and that traces of gluten remain.

The new Stone Delicious Krush IPA therefore brings together several recognizable Stone Brewing characteristics: a hop-forward IPA foundation, the Delicious family name, modern Krush hops, a gluten-reduced brewing process and a more approachable 5.5% ABV.
