Garage Beer Chili Lime Light Beer

Today I have a first look at an interesting new flavored light beer coming from Garage Beer in Columbus, Ohio. This time, the brand is turning up the flavor with a combination that should immediately catch the attention of fans of spicy beer, lime beer and easy-drinking light lagers. Meet Garage Beer Chili Lime Light Beer, a new small-batch brewed light beer featuring lime and chili flavor.

The label identifies this beer as “Light Beer With Lime and Chili Flavor” and lists it at a highly sessionable 4% ABV. It also delivers 95 calories and 3 grams of carbohydrates per 12-ounce serving, putting it directly into the low-calorie, easy-drinking light beer category. Garage Beer currently describes its core beers as light, crisp and refreshing, with the brand’s Classic and Lime offerings also listed at 4% ABV and 95 calories.

What makes this new Garage Beer release different is the addition of chili flavor alongside lime. The packaging prominently displays a green chili pepper and lime wedge, while a heat scale running from MILD to WILD appears across the lower portion of the label. That visual treatment makes it clear that Garage Beer is positioning Chili Lime as a flavored light beer with an extra spicy twist rather than simply another lime lager.

The label calls the beer “Small Batch Brewed” and “Lime Light Beer,” while the prominent Chili Lime branding gives the release its own identity. The combination of crisp light beer, citrusy lime and chili heat creates an especially interesting variation on the increasingly popular flavored light beer category.

The 12-ounce bottle shown here also gives Garage Beer another package format for this new flavor. The label lists the beer at 4% alcohol by volume, with the nutritional information clearly presented as 95 calories and 3g carbs per serving.

There is also an interesting production detail on the label. While Garage Beer is based in Columbus, Ohio, the label identifies Grand Rapids, Michigan in the brewing and bottling information. Garage Beer has been using Founders Brewing‘s Grand Rapids operation for production, a relationship that has appeared on recent Garage Beer labeling.

This new Garage Beer Chili Lime Light Beer arrives during a particularly active year for the brand. Garage Beer has introduced new packaging, promotional partnerships and additional flavored beer projects throughout 2026, including its previously reported Apple Beer project and its Lime Bucket and Light Bucket packaging.

For fans of Garage Beer, chili lime beer, flavored light beer, lime lager, low-calorie beer and sessionable beer, this is definitely a release to watch.

Stay tuned for additional Garage Beer Chili Lime Light Beer release and availability information.

Garage Beer is a Columbus, Ohio beer brand built around a straightforward concept: make light beer that is crisp, refreshing, easy to drink and approachable. The brand’s official website describes Garage Beer as “Beer Flavored Beer™”, emphasizing a simple drinking experience rather than complicated brewing terminology or an overly elaborate beer identity. Garage Beer lists its headquarters at 1610 Oak Street in Columbus, Ohio.

The Garage Beer lineup currently centers on its Classic Light Beer and Lime Light Beer, with both products listed at 4% ABV and 95 calories on the brand’s website. The Classic version is described as an American light lager, while Garage Beer Lime adds a bright lime component to the light beer base.

Garage Beer’s identity is closely tied to casual beer-drinking occasions. The brand positions its beers for the garage, driveway, backyard and other everyday gathering places. That approach is reflected in the company’s packaging, marketing and product names, which tend to emphasize accessibility, nostalgia, social occasions and uncomplicated drinking.

Although Garage Beer is based in Columbus, Ohio, production has also expanded through brewing arrangements outside the city. Recent labeling identifies Grand Rapids, Michigan, and reporting on the brand’s production relationship connects Garage Beer with Founders Brewing Company and Canal Street Brewing Co. in Grand Rapids. This means the brand’s Columbus identity and Michigan brewing connection can both appear in Garage Beer production and packaging information.

Garage Beer has been particularly active during 2026. The brand has expanded its packaging, introduced new promotional partnerships and explored additional flavor concepts. MyBeerBuzz reported on Garage Beer’s upcoming Apple Beer, while another 2026 story covered new Light Bucket and Lime Bucket 24-pack/12-ounce bottle packaging.

The brand has also continued building its presence around sports, entertainment and seasonal marketing. A recent Garage Beer collaboration with Jason Kelce and Kingsford introduced the “Terrors of the Tailgate” campaign, while earlier summer promotions included New Found Glory, an American Summer campaign and an Utz Cheese Balls partnership.

The arrival of Garage Beer Chili Lime Light Beer fits naturally into that expanding product strategy. Rather than simply offering another traditional light lager, this release combines a 4% light beer base with lime and chili flavor, while maintaining the brand’s familiar 95-calorie, 3-gram-carb nutritional profile.

With its bright lime imagery, prominent chili pepper, Mild-to-Wild heat scale and 12-ounce bottle format, Chili Lime gives Garage Beer another distinctive entry in the growing flavored light beer category. For drinkers looking for Garage Beer Columbus Ohio, chili lime beer, lime light beer, low-calorie beer and sessionable flavored beer, this new release adds another interesting direction to the Garage Beer lineup.
